Low, stable emissions
The technology operates with constantly low emission levels, a result of employing a two stage thermal conversion process.
Stage one: The system first gasifies the waste to produce a synthetic gas.
Stage two: The synthetic gas is then oxidised at a high temperature.
This well controlled process enables a very simple flue gas treatment system to be employed, also helping deliver reliable and stable emissions.
The process is flexible, allowing it to adjust to changes in the composition of residual waste or in the type of waste fractions being treated, e.g municipal solid waste (MSW), residual MSW, solid recovered fuel (SRF)/ refuse derived fuel (RDF) and commercial waste.
